It didn’t make sense to me – how in the world could I have shot so well earlier in the year, only to seemingly lose that ability a few weeks later? In hindsight, my problem was simple – I did not continue shooting the bow into the season.
When I take the time to reflect back upon my outdoor experiences, I can see that I was very blessed in every aspect I can possibly recall. Looking back, I would say, without any hesitation, that my love and appreciation for the outdoors is all due to my dad.
Although it may seem a waste of time, experimenting with different brands or kinds of ammo can change that gun that earlier was shooting two-inch groups to a tack-driver.
After a second or two more of looking, I picked up on the “brain” pattern of the morel. Then another one. And then another one. All of the sudden, it seemed as if there were morels everywhere.
